I am delighted to welcome you here, where I try to bring order to the variety of my projects and adventures. So let's start at the beginning. Who am I? And what do I do?

Big questions, I know.

Today, I am a researcher and an entrepreneur at heart, someone who often feels as though she has lived several lives in one, and who loves breaking new ground and exploring uncharted territories.

After studying history and sociology, I chose to dedicate my energy and skills to the field of human rights protection—first in Mauritius, and then for seven years in India.

Realizing the impact and usefulness of my work within a collective striving to create positive change was an incredibly enriching and transformative experience.

When I returned to Mauritius in 2014, I felt the desire to channel my enthusiasm and creativity in a new direction. Together with a friend, I co-founded my Moris, a cultural tourism company. I am proud to say that we were pioneers in this field.

The years I spent exploring the island off the beaten path and deepening my knowledge of Mauritian history and heritage nourished me profoundly.

This immersion in Mauritius’s rich cultural landscape opened up new creative horizons.

Since 2020, I have wanted to contribute to the emergence of new and original narratives in Mauritius. To that end, I launched Lepok Studio, a local company dedicated to creating and producing impactful cultural content, including podcasts, books, documentaries, and social entrepreneurship models.

In 2020, I published Mots Kouler, an artist’s book in which I created a palette of sixty-five Mauritian colors and reflected on the imaginaries and meanings revealed through this Mauritian palette.

Three years later, the Terres Marronnes project took me across different regions of the island to collect and experiment with the textures and colors of volcanic soils and wild clay.

Over the years, color became the narrative thread running through my research and creative explorations. With my new book, Émouvances, I continue my reflection on our individual and collective inheritances.
